This distinguished single malt is matured exclusively for twenty-five years in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain. Laying undisturbed in the same casks for a quarter of a century, the maturing spirit transforms to create this luxurious single malt whiskey characterized by its rich flavours of vanilla, dried fruits and ginger spice with a long finish and rich mahogany colour.
Pooh, sherry of sheer excellency, without a touch of false note, every conceivable dark berry in every imaginable form, fresh, ripe, thickened in jam, as juice, crushed, dried, with the full raisin splendour, sweetness, oak, sweet orange, orange , sweetest, ripest figs fresh from the tree.
Hints of raisins and bittersweet orange complemented by stewed orchard fruit and spice. Flavours of dried fruit which consists of raisins, apricots, figs, prunes and apples, resulted in honey sweetness and more spice. Very long and lingering finishing, with cherry and stewed apple fading to rich charred notes.

Kavalan Sherry Oak dilutes Solist Sherry with Kavalan spring water to 46% strength. It is easy to drink and could be a perfect malt whiskey to share with friends and family on most occasions. It is clean and complex with multiple layers of dried fruit, nuttiness and spices with some marzipan and vanilla touches to it.
Nice aroma with oak, still subtle hints of corn, vanilla and cinnamon. Taste is rye spice with burnt sugar, some tobacco and more rye. Medium finish where the cinnamon and rye in the mash bill come through again, the lingering finish is quite soft, and the sweet rye taste is delightful to savour.
Russet in colour, with rich oaky aromas. Mint and rye spice both jump out on the nose, big heaps of cherries and vanilla, with subtle notes of leather and tobacco. Baking spices take centre stage on the palate, along with canned pumpkin, burnt toast, spearmint, coconut, green oak, and vanilla A smoky finish, carried by cinnamon, allspice and a hint of sweeties.
A unique blend due to its combination of three different Speyside single malts, with a suggestion of juicy toasted barley, berry fruit and butterscotch. The result is a smooth, creamy, supple and very malty Scotch which works superbly well neat, over ice, or in whiskey cocktails.

From the Hakushu distillery in the foothills of Mount Kaikomagatake comes their Distiller's Reserve single malt whiskey, a no-age-statement expression, that captures the smoky, herbaceous characteristics of their whiskies. Both lightly-peated and heavily-peated malts were used for this complex and deeply enjoyable whiskey.
Hibiki Japanese Harmony is a blend of Japanese malt and grain whiskies from Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita. It is light, approachable and moreish with enticing notes of orange peel and white chocolate. An elegant expression, with wafts of honey, an herbaceous touch or two and light oak.
This Glengoyne is soft, fruity and very quaffable, with aroma of toffee, hint of lemon, supported by toasted barley in the background. Taste of toffee apples, ginger, orange and shortbread, finishes well with a hint of sherry, soft oak and cinnamon spice.
Showing off the stunning golden tone and glow imparted by the lengthy maturation, it has a hints of soft spice and dried peels aroma, full bodied, round and rich taste, at first with fruit notes of apple and pineapple, then superseded by prominent notes of nut and spice: hazelnut, nutmeg and clove. Ended with warm and dry finishes.
Unpeated malt was use for this whiskey, which is then matured for a quarter of a century in Sherry casks. It has a big note of red fruits, old leather and brown sugar, with taste of soft oak, cinnamon and stewed fruits, like a well spiced fruit cake. Hints of orange round it off and lasts with notes of red fruits and cracked black pepper.
These bottlings show off the rich, powerful Glengoyne flavour profile wonderfully. Aroma of Apple crumble, cinnamon and orange, digestive biscuits, malty heart with almond. On the palate, there is a thick mouth feel, spicy with fresh banana, sweet sherry, peach, honey and crisped rice. Very long finishes with appealing oak and fruit.
Powerful and fiery aroma, thick and heavy woodsmoke, extremes of spice and sweetness, with fresh lemon, zesty ginger and rich plum jam. An explosion of breath-taking flavour, peppery and peaty heat, soothed by honeyed sweetness, before the smoke comes again. Finishes with exotic spices and a curious citrus tang of mandarin.
Intense peat, smoke and burnt biscuits with clean vanilla and coffee aroma, oily barley and intense campfire smoke, taste almost thick with oiliness before becoming creamier, with nutty, briny and citrus notes. While it ended with oat cakes sweetness with a hint of smoked paprika, leaving a salty tang.
A well peated single malt boasting smoke and dried fruit, a hint of medicinal peat smoke, prunes and clove. On the palate is a fruitier, creamier feel of soft rich oak, soothing custard and vanilla, followed by sultanas and dried fruits. Finishes sweet and spicy with Spanish sherry oakiness and red chilli flake.
A rich and powerful dram that packs quite the flavour profile. A nose of delicately spiced oak, thick layers of maple syrup and freshly shelled nuts with a palate of summer berries, a sprinkle of brown sugar and flickers of baking spices, followed by a long finish of sultanas, lemon zest and dark chocolate.
